Atlanta Police disperse a fight between two groups of musicians backstage at the BET Hip Hop Awards show 2012, Saturday (29/9) evening local time. No one was arrested in the incident and hip hop music awards show was still in progress.
Atlanta Police spokesman Carlos Campos said the officers immediately respond to a call a fight backstage at the event was taking place. Campos said no one was injured or shot, although the sound of the gun.
Police did not release the identity of the two groups of musicians were exchanged at that. The incident itself took place during the event to honor hip-hop singer Chris Lighty who committed suicide.
Committee BET Hip Hop Awards 2012 has said the incident did not disrupt the proceedings which will be aired again on television on 9 October.
